This is the trip of a lifetime, and only for those with a true sense of adventure. From Kathmandu in Nepal you’ll fly into the Himalayas, touching down at magical sites along the way. After refuelling at Lukla, you’ll head up to a mountain lodge where you’ll dine and sleep at 4500m, a view of Everest from your cabin window. Champagne will be served at breakfast the following morning and you’ll watch the sun rise over the world’s tallest peaks. Next you’ll be flown by helicopter to Everest base camp, the starting point of legends. This five day, four night trip includes accommodation in Kongde, Kathmandu and Chitwan, along with internal airfares and transportation.

Itinerary
  • Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu (1300M) 

Arrive in Kathmandu at [00:00] local time, Kathmandu. The immensity of the Kathmandu Valley is evident as you fly into Tribhuwan International Airport, with Kathmandu stretching into the Himalaya Mountains on the horizon. 

Transfer to Bhaktapur Durbar 

Bhaktapur is located about 20 km east of Kathmandu and drive around 30 min. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the center of Bhaktapur. The Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal. 

Lunch at Café Nyatapola – This cafe is in a building that was once a traditional pagoda temple. 

Transfer to the domestic airport – fly to Lukla 

You’ll fly lying parallel to the Himalayan range before your first landing is Lukla – gateway to Mt Everest – where your scenic heli-tour truly begins. Next, take another 15 minutes flight to Kongde, Yeti Mountain Home. 

Yeti Mountain Home, situated at an altitude of (4250m) and considered as one of the world’s best high-altitude mountain resort with the breathtaking view of mighty Himalayas including Mount Everest, Mount Amadablam, Thamserku and many more. 

Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home. 

  • Day 2

Everest Sightseeing – Kalapathar – Lukla – Kathmandu – Chitwan

Enjoy the view at breakfast. Ascend into the mountains for an amazing sightseeing adventure and take in the magnificent views as you fly over the impressive Himalayas. 

Land at Kala Patthar (5550m), near Everest Base Camp and spend approximately 10 minutes on firm ground, gazing up at the majestic mountain while your propeller stays in motion. 

From here, fly to Back to Lukla, and then to Kathmandu before flying to Chitwan, Bharatpur Airport. 

Afternoon visit to Tharu Village on Ox Cart- This is the traditional transport of Tharu people. You’ll learn more about the special culture of this very interesting ethnic group. You will understand their way of farming and how they build their houses with local traditional materials only. 

Dinner and Overnight at Lodge in Chitwan.

  • Day 3

Wake up early to experience of elephant-back safari: Ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife the one- horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and if Lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 02 hours approx. 

Breakfast at the resort 

After breakfast, the guest will take part in one of the most fascinating activity in Chitwan – Elephant Bathing where the guests ride in the back of the elephant and the huge animal will throw the water back to you with through its trunks. 

Lunch is at the Lodge 

Afternoon – Canoe ride in the Rapti / Narayani River. The ride is on the Rapti River for approximately 5 km. on this silent ride you will get an opportunity to view aquatic birds and see animals on the river banks. 

Evening: Cultural Performance – Enjoy typical Tharu dance in the evening with brightly colored costumes and infectious rhythms. 

Dinner and Overnight is at Lodge in Chitwan.

  • Day 4

Fly Chitwan, Bharatpur to Kathmandu 

Early Morning Nature Walk and Bird Watching – This on foot accompanied by a guide, to help you study the wildlife and the hidden secret in the woods. This is the last chance to scan for a glimpse of a loth bear or wild bear, unique birds etc. As per your interest, the nature walks can be longer or shorter. 

Breakfast at the resort 

Transfer to Bharatpur Airport in good time for your scheduled light aircraft flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer from the domestic airport in Kathmandu and travel to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
